For this project, I was given a topic question that I had to do extensive research on and show in a visual display. My prompt was ‘What’s the oldest bar in NYC and how has it stayed open?’. Turns out this was a more complicated question than I thought it would be.

I went out to many locations to scope out the places, went to museums, talked to curators, and did extensive research online. I chose to showcase my writing/research as a visual essay.

Each building represents a different bar and the panels show different places in that bar’s history.
