I took a typography class one summer because I thought why not? Why not learn a skill I know nothing about and see what happens? Generally, you don’t get a lot of design classes in an animation degree and most of my work is hand drawn animation, so I rarely use typography in my work.

One of our assignments was to make a book jacket for an existing book. Clive Barker is one of my favorite authors, and I wanted to make something a little hellish for his work. The Hellmouth was believed to be the entrance to hell in the middle ages, so I have it engulfing little demons and a poor victim on the back.
